Comment: The USA is your best market opportunity in 2015

     

For the first time in many years, selling into the USA is a "no brainer" for Canadian importers and exporters. We can think of at least three good reasons:

1.    The U.S. is always a good market: American buyers always have more money to spend and always make their buying decisions much faster than in any other market (including Canada);
2.    The current, and probable continuing favorable exchange rate provides an immediate profit of 15% or more; and
3.    Thanks to cheap gas and other factors, BloombergBusinessweek reports that U.S. GDP growth approached 5.0% in late 2014.  

 

When combined with a softening of Canada's commodity-driven economy, these factors should truly make the USA market a "no brainer" for even the most conservative Canadian entrepreneur. As Phil Knight says, "JUST DO IT".
