As we continue to see how COVID-19 is shaping consumer behavior and the US business landscape, e-commerce has emerged as a vital, and growing, channel for many industries. In the last month, Amazon and others have announced “peak season” storage restrictions and additional charges and warehouse space is tightening across the US.
Expansion into e-commerce channels is a great option for many businesses. We recommend securing space sooner than later to establish a foothold prior to “peak season” (Q4).
“E-commerce has been one of the biggest game changers to supply chain management since the introduction of the world wide web and the internet,” said Rich Thompson, JLL’s global supply chain and logistics consulting leader. “It has fundamentally changed the way consumers buy as well as their expectations for delivery.”
At UCanTrade, our warehouses are clean and well-organized. We also take pride in maintaining a high-level of security and personnel standards.
